Privacy Policy
Simple Custom Font Replacer is a Shopify app operated by RunMax. The app helps merchants upload custom font files to their own Shopify store and apply those fonts to selected storefront elements.
Information We Process
When a merchant installs and uses the app, we may process:
- The Shopify store domain, for example
example.myshopify.com. - Shopify access tokens needed to provide the app functionality.
- Font names, font files selected by the merchant, and font replacement rules.
- Theme selection settings used to guide the merchant to the correct Shopify theme editor.
- Technical request information such as timestamps and server logs used for security, debugging, and uptime monitoring.
How We Use Information
We use the information only to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app. In particular, the app uses Shopify API access to upload merchant-selected font files to Shopify Files and to read available themes so the merchant can choose where the app embed should be enabled.
Customer Data
The app is designed for storefront styling and does not intentionally collect customer names, email addresses, addresses, payment details, orders, or other buyer personal information.
Font File Storage
Font files uploaded through the app are stored in the merchant's own Shopify Files/CDN where possible. The app stores configuration data needed to reference those files and generate the storefront CSS.
Sharing
We do not sell merchant or customer data. Information is shared only with Shopify as required for the app to function, with service providers that host or secure the app, or where required by law.
Retention and Deletion
App configuration data is kept while the app is installed and as needed for backups, security, or troubleshooting. When the app is uninstalled or Shopify sends required data deletion requests, we delete or anonymize stored app data that is no longer needed.
Security
We use HTTPS, restricted access, request validation, and server-side controls to protect the app and its stored configuration. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to keep the app safe and reliable.
